Student at the upper secondary level at Klax

The upper secondary level at Klax is characterised by a high level of methodical competence and excellent professional support for each individual pupil.
We endeavour to enable as many pupils as possible to transfer to the upper secondary level so that they can take their Abitur qualifications. We offer individual learning advice to optimally prepare our pupils for the Abitur exams.
On the one hand, independent learning in the learning studio with agreed learning objectives and transparent performance expectations has proven to be successful. On the other hand, the subject teachers make an important contribution to the successful preparation for Abitur by helping pupils with advice and assistance, even outside the classroom.
The qualification phase in years 12 and 13 is preceded by a one-year introductory phase at year 11, in which pupils deepen and expand the skills they acquired in secondary level I.

  • Pupil numbers: The learning family consists of 50 pupils
  • By choosing the basic and advanced courses, pupils decide on their personal specialisations
  • Individual learning advice and intensive support on the path to Abitur
  • Political Science, Philosophy and Performing Arts are optional subjects
  • Pupils can use our own school library
  • The learning studio allows pupils to independently deepen their knowledge of topics covered in lessons
